Whenever "close" just isn't good enough... Ektachrome delivers colors and micro-contrasts that have it all. Compared to color negative films such as Vision3 Stocks, the film has a narrower exposure latitude and much more contrast.
Conversely, this means that scenes are shown as they are and the film rounds everything off with character. The greatest purists can even dispense with grading altogether: The film can even be projected directly - from the set to the screen, without any intermediate digital steps.
We are also ideally equipped for all less extreme use cases: Our scanning team is very familiar with the special requirements of this extraordinary film material - in all formats from Super8 to 35mm Vista Vision.
It's very simple: We sell 35mm Kodak Ektachrome 5294 to productions and private individuals who want to shoot on the material. However, we can only sell the material to private individuals pre-paid together with the development.
