Natürlich verkaufen wir auch frisches Super-8-Filmmaterial – entweder direkt bei uns vor Ort oder in unserem Webshop.
The costs for developing & scanning depend on the quantity and the type of material sent in. Color negative films are generally cheaper to develop than reversal films. An HD or 2K scan is also cheaper than a 4K scan.
For single films we offer special prices for processing and scanning - the more films you send in, the cheaper the scan will be.

There are currently five different Super8 film stocks that you can buy from us either online or in-store: The Vision3 films as 50D, 200T and 500T, as well as the color reversal film Ektachrome 100D, and the black and white reversal film Tri-X Reversal.
Highly sensitive color negative material with relatively low grain, neutral color reproduction and a high contrast range. The material is suitable for all applications, but has a more pronounced grain compared to the other film types. Particularly suitable for shooting in very low light conditions. Negative film is not suitable for projection without additional work. After development, Super8 is usually digitized. With Andec Cinegrell, however, it is also possible to Copies on positive material for projection.
Ektachrome is a fine-grained and medium-sensitive color reversal film. It is characterized by neutral colour rendition and good contrast processing. Ektachrome is suitable for outdoor photography in normal to moderate lighting conditions. For indoor shots, the film is suitable with additional lighting with the correct color temperature (daylight) or correct filtering. Reversal material produces a directly visible positive image after development that can be projected directly. Ektachrome is also very suitable for digitalization.

We can scan Super8 film with a resolution of HD, 2K and up to 4k+. The standard scan is log (flat) and is delivered without contrast correction. We can adjust the contrast on request. The full perforation is visible during the scan by default. (Edge to Edge Scan)
Du kannst dich bei der Wahl der Dateien die Du erhalten möchtest zwischen einfach nutzbaren H264 MP4 Files, oder professionellen ProRes Quicktimes (422HQ / 4444XQ) entscheiden. Auf Anfrage ist auch die Auslieferung von .dpx Sequenzen möglich. Die Auslieferung erfolgt standardmäßig per Downloadlink.
With us you get super scans from Super8! We can digitize Super8 film up to a maximum resolution of 6K and, compared to other providers, our scans are more stable, cleaner and, above all, finished much faster.
We deliver Super8 scans edge-to-edge as standard. This means you get almost the full width of the film, including the full perforation, plus a small part of the next and previous frame.
On request we can provide the Super8 scans with a slight overscan. This means that part of the perforation and a small part of the next and previous frames are visible in the frame.
On request, we can also scan Super8 film cleanly cropped to the image content. This means that you will receive only the image, cropped at right-angles to the format in which it was shot.
We develop overlayed / old films exclusively without guarantee of results.
Kodakchrome films cannot be developed by us.
Old material may have to be developed separately, which is why no binding timings can be given here.
We can push Super8 / 8mm films in development up to +2 f-stops, or push -1 f-stop (forced / deforced development).
Please note that additional costs will be incurred. We therefore ask you to contact us in advance by e-mail for special Super8 developments.
As only copying plant worldwide we offer Super8 copying on fresh 8mm ECP copy material specially produced for us by Kodak. We can also produce 8mm copies from digital data.
We offer both Super8 negative to positive copies, as well as reductions of 16mm or 35mm negatives, or the exposure of digital data on Super8 print.
With decades of experience in analog copying, we can also produce copies of the highest quality in 8mm cine film format on lovingly maintained machines that meet the requirements for the tightest tolerances of such a small format.
